About the event
- Fire Extinguisher:
- 1/2 day course covers the Unit Standards 3271 & 4647.
- Level 2 / Credits 2
- This course is based on many practical exercises involving assessment of the workplace, identifying the fuels and classes of fires, assessing fires and using different mediums for extinguishing. Fire Extinguisher training is required by many companies where Hot Work is undertaken on site.
- Hazard Identification:
- This one day course covers Unit Standards 17602
- Level 2 / Credits 4
- Students will be able to undertake a job safety analysis, they will be able to identify and describe hazards that may affect workers, the environment and organisiations. The day covers a combination of theory and practical learning.
